Bissendorfer Weg

Bissendorfer Weg is located within the decaying alleyways of the city. As part of the craftsmen’s guild, the street was known for its good houses and tidy streets. Now, amidst the devastation, malformed mutants crawl through the ruins on foggy nights to gnaw the last rotten flesh from the bones of the dead, who left their fate in the hands of Morr as they entered the city, desperately searching for warpstein.

Started again with XPS-Foam bricks and Balsawood (4x4mm). Glued everything with white-glue.

The walls were cut out of foam rubber.

Created floors with ice-sticks and balsa-wood.

Plastered the walls with Vallejo Diorama FX Desert Ground. The middle house were plastered with some paper soaked with glue to create a different look and make the houses stand out from each other.

Addes some stones and dirt in the corners.

Primed everything in black. This time with covered foam-bricks.

Painted a base-color with burnt umber on all houses and woodwork.

Painted the stones with Skavenblight from Games Workshop.

Painted the walls of the left house with dead-bone, to give it a medival look again.

Dry-brushed the entire buildings with a light greay.

Dry-brushed the stonework with Longbeard Grey.

The shingles were painted with Incubi Darkness. The color is more interisting then a standard black, and give a more living touch.

Added some weathering again with thin downed Sepia and an Umber-Wash.

Some details with the great posters from devs&dice and a bloody touch with Mephiston – Red.

Some grimdark pieces for atmosphere. These were from the corpse-cart from the vampire counts.

This build took about 1 month. The diorama FX worked great again and overall the buildings came out great. I just have enough houses to play my first mordheim game on a table and i’m very excited.
